General Overview ;-

A Rose Joint achieves it's strength from two primary areas - materials and thicknesses.

A Ultra High Performance /Ultra High  Strength Rose Joint normally means that the wall thickness around the rose joint ball is relatively thick.

While this gives high strength (assuming the correct materials are used) ,it has a big disadvantage in that the increased wall thickness results in a rose joint which has limited misalignment capability - typically only 50% of a cheap 2 Part Economy Grade rose joint....

The Misalignment Angle is the amount you can swivel the rose joint ball before the bolt through the centre of the rose joint fouls on the casing of the rose joint.

Obviously , this is absolutely key in areas such as suspension set ups where you really need the high misalignment capacity of the rose joint - otherwise with motion ,the rose joint locks out of it's misalingment range quite quickly resulting in loss of suspension capability or even wheel lift.

This PCM Range range of Rose Joints we are offering here has been designed to solve this limitation - using a blend of Ultra High Strength materials and unique slimline design identical to the economy grade rose joints -resulting in Misalignment Angles of more than x2 those of conventional Ultra High Performance rose joints (for example +/- 26 degrees versus +/- 12 degrees for the Ultra High Performance types)..
