These item is a Studded Rose Joint -ideal for use in motorsport or Kit Car type applications to replace conventional track rod ends or in steering/suspension set ups in racing cars, kit cars etc etc.
These fit directly onto the Male threads of a Mini Steering Rack and can be used as High Performance alternatives to the standard old fashioned ball joints.
We supply these in Male to Female configurations (Male to Male are also available if you want to use them on the ends of threaded extensions links to the Mini Steering racks) ...the idea is that you screw the Female part of the studded rose joint directly on to the end of the standard Mini Steering Rack and then pop the Male part of the studded rose joint through the stub axle hole - you may need to drill this out slightly to 1/2" (12.7 mm) to accept the studded rose joint.
Fit a Nyloc 1/2" UNF Male nut on the top and you are good to go...
The pull out strength of the stud is an enormous 12,250 Pounds....vastly superior to the standard swagged type Ball Joints and the ball joint in the studded rose joint is much ,much more free to rotate........contact us for more details if you dont see what you need.
